UMI Performance 91-96 Impala SS Adjustable Extended Length Lower Control Arms- Rod Ends

UMI Performance extended length control arms are designed to properly center the rear wheels in the wheel well of the Impala SS. These control arms are extended by 5/8” and feature additional adjustment capabilities to perfectly center the rear end. This adjustment allows users to lengthen or shorten the control arms by an additional ¼” beyond the initial 5/8". The control arms are constructed from 1.500” DOM tubing and fully TIG welded for maximum strength. They also come with provisions for adding either a stock or aftermarket sway bar. The sway bar holes are reinforced with a 0.120” thick steel sleeve, TIG welded and sanded in place. The sway bar connects to the control arms using a billet aluminum spacer that is contoured to match the shape of the round tubing, ensuring a proper attachment at the factory location. The control arms attach to the rear end with spherical bearing rod ends, promoting a bind-free operation for improved handling. This setup allows the suspension to articulate correctly while the polyurethane end bolts to the chassis, absorbing unwanted road noise.
