There's no question that the 2017+ Honda Civic Type R is built to perform. From gaping grills, towering spoilers, and bright red splattered on every surface, Honda made it clear that the FK8 and subsequent FL5 are designed for speed. Where we have already improved on other components for improving speed, we turned to the longevity of the sporty Civic with our Aluminum Expansion Tank. The Mishimoto 2017+ Honda Civic Type R Aluminum Expansion Tank removes the eyesore that is the conspicuously beige stock tank from the engine bay, replacing it with a sleek all-aluminum design that looks more at home under the hood with the option for a color-matching Rallye Red or stealthy black micro-wrinkle finish. Where the plastic tank is great for mass production, It's destined to fail with repeated heating and cooling cycles. Our expansion tank design will take the worry out of containing your coolant, and can stand up to the oven that is the Civic Type R's engine bay. We have incorporated internal baffling within our tank to keep your coolant level during aggressive driving. The Mishimoto Aluminum Expansion Tank also includes a sight glass for quick visibility on fluid levels, and is covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a worry-free install.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Back order items are subject to special shipping times. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Standard Shipping is 2-5 days.

We offer free ground shipping for orders over $200 within the United States.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

*Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

Damages

RAV Performance​ is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
